(There will be more characters; I'll update this page some day š)
Here is Santeri, “Santtu”, in front of his “sauna cabin home”, and in the second picture, the same guy as a teenager in his former home, which he has now rented to be able to continue living in the countryside. Santeri's mother left when he was still young, and his father died of symptoms caused by alcoholism some time ago.

Leevi (on the right in the picture below) is Santeri's friend and peer rehabilitee. The other guy in the picture is Jade-Jalmari, who knows Leevi through substance abuse rehabilitation and has many siblings, with whom Santeri has had a one-sided relationship of admiration and affection for years. As a teenager, Jade-Jalmari used to vent his own angst, e.g. by bullying Santeri as well as some other peers.

This fairy-like creature is Leevi's sister Anjuska. They have a father with serious mental health problems and an exhausted mother, but Anjuska has been born with a lot of serotonin and doesn't worry too much about things. She had some kind of unintimate relationship with Santeri but later ended up hanging out with a guy next door. However, the friendship with Santer is still "valid" whenever she happens to meet him in the same courtyard.

This is Bruce. He used to work as a bartender, listening to the tearful stories and enthusiastic speeches of customers at the bar counter with empathy and dedication, so much so that the results of the actual paid work began to suffer. Inspired by his boss's advice and the earnest wishes of his clientele, he decided to study to become a solution-oriented brief therapist, and has been the therapist of a few of his former acquaintances.
Santeri's circle of acquaintances also includes people living next door, such as single-parent police officer Emil, who has several peculiar, already adult children, and a more recent neighbour Patrick, who calls himself (self-ironically?) "Eco-man". Patrick's younger brother, on the other hand, is a brisk ADHD guy and a former schoolmate of Anjuska.

Santeri's former home, on the plot of which his "sauna cottage" is located, has been rented by e.g. Jade-Jalmari's half-cousin Jelisa, who is studying psychology. Jelisa preferred to settle in the attic of a detached house to live in a rented apartment rather than move into her somewhat narrow-minded grandmother's spacious apartment as her "companion". Santeri has also given “homes” to some other young adults in need of temporary accommodation at a low price, and Jelisa feels sympathy especially for her slightly different roommates.
Jelisa has been adopted into Jade-Jalmari's uncle's family from Brazil. The picture below also shows Jade-Jalmari's another cousin, Janna, the child of her mother's sister. Janna has always gotten along quite well with Jade-Jalmari (not everyone can do that), and she has also known Santeri since she was a baby, because she has lived quite close to him, and her brother, Tony, has been Santeri's schoolmate. As a child, Janna used to tinker with all kinds of technical things in Santeri's father's garage workshop, under the guidance of Santtu, who is about three years older than her.
When Santeri was still under twenty, he lived in the same room that he now rents furnished to those in need of affordable accommodation. Santtu has some kind of ADD...
In this older photo, there is a guy that Santeri got to know when he was in his early twenties in a psychiatric crisis ward, and who even visited him once (when Santeri's father was still alive). Now this guy has greenish hair and a nose ring, and he's a good friend to Janna...

| On the left, Edeline, Jade-Jalmari's twin sister; in the middle is Niki, a friend of their little sister Jiska. And on the right, Tony and Janna, cousins on their mother's side. |
And this is not all the people yet, because Santeri's circle of acquaintances still includes numerous acquaintances who may occasionally happen to be in the same place or event as him.
